Why Does God Save Some but Not Others?

There's power in prayer. Yes, you know there is. If you believe in God, then you are fully aware of the importance of speaking to Him - whether alone or in a group. You feel an unexplained connection. You feel you are not alone. Some pray fervently in hopes that the stronger they pray, God will hear them and answer their prayers. But, this does not always happen. So, why does God answer some prayers while ignoring others?

"I've witnessed my neighbor pray for their ill loved-one. I don't believe they prayed harder than I did for my own. Then, why did God save THEIR'S and not MINE? Am I not praying correctly? Why did God save their loved-one while not saving mine?" Fact is - God hears ALL prayers. If you are praying to God, He hears you. He might not answer the prayer the way YOU want it answered. His answer to you was steadfast and true. You might not agree, but believers - true-believers - leave it in the hands of God! He knows what He's doing!

"Then what did I do wrong?" The answer is, nothing. God DID save your loved-one, and you, also! This is the entire reason that Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross - to SAVE ALL people! It all comes down to later on - AFTER this life here on Earth. For the true-believers, they ARE saved and will get to live with God, in Heaven, forever. THAT is our ultimate goal! Have you accepted that Jesus Christ saved you? I pray that you did, or will. I also pray that my prayer gets answered.

Why Did I Wake Up Today?

"The alarm clock already?!? Oh, please, give me strength to get through this day!! I can't believe what I have to face today - remind me why I woke up again!" Sure. You've awoken because God has a purpose for YOU! Yes, I know you don't know that - but, it's VERY true! And once you come to terms of understanding that God has put a unique purpose in ALL of our lives, then waking up every morning will be an inevitable burden, But, if you awake - knowing that full-well, God has an absolute purpose for you - then facing your day, as well as, 'dealing' with other people, will become MUCH easier! And remember: you cannot do it alone!!

Do you seriously think that a colony of ants has this dilemma?

God did not 'program' them to work alone. Together - and ONLY together - they make their colony survive. They have each other. They never 'worry' or 'fret' about '...what that ant said about me...' or '...do you really believe what that ant is doing?...' etc. They have one thing in common that we, as humans, do not: they genuinely, and without question, care for one another. We humans have a lot to learn about being creatures of God.

So, you could understand the impact that caring for each other would have, globally. Show love. Listen to someone when they share their problems. Don't try to solve it for them - just listen and understand. Give them assurance that YOU are there for them. That's all. Maybe YOU need to speak with someone. That 'someone' is there, just look for them. Prayer helps the most, so pray with them - whether they're believers or not - they'll know it comes from your heart - and goes directly to God. Prayer is what separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. Pray for each of us.
